Reduce Energy & Fuel Consumption



Our cruise customers particularly benefit from our wide scope of solutions to manage and reduce energy consumption, including energy management technology, energy recovery wheel replacement programs and LED lighting upgrades.

We deliver smart modifications of mechanical, electrical and automation equipment with high-efficiency components, scalable up to a total HVAC reconfiguration. With heating and cooling costs equal to 30% of total cruise ship energy generation, our systems save cruise customers 200+ kwh, 40,000 tons of fuel and 136,000 tons of CO2 every year.

Trident welcomes International Maritime Organization’s decision to reduce the global sulfur emissions limit to 0.5% by 2020. As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we have developed a specialty in installations of SOx scrubbers and ballast water treatment systems. With 100+ scrubber towers installed, we have worked with all leading scrubber manufacturers worldwide.
