OUR SOLUTIONS

HVAC and Refrigeration Maintenance and Service

Regular maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems is essential to maintain a comfortable environment and to ensure ongoing compliance with client performance standards and current regulations. Further benefits of routine maintenance will ensure systems are operating efficiency and effectively, reducing both operating costs and the risks associated with downtime.

  • Planned maintenance agreements help prioritise maintenance needs, ensure corrective work is efficient, and support ongoing reliability and compliance.

Preventative HVAC maintenance reduces equipment downtime

To minimise disruption from potential operational downtime, many of our clients implement proactive maintenance strategies for HVAC plant and equipment, comprising planned preventative maintenance, reliability based maintenance, condition based maintenance, and vibration analysis.

Helping you develop an effective HVAC maintenance strategy

In addition to planned maintenance services, we can advise and assist in the development of a tailored HVAC maintenance strategy.

Access to a wide range of equipment and spares

Trident IES has access to a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment manufacturers and has forged strategic partnerships with key OEMs. Supply chain specialists in our maintenance department will source spare parts or refurbishment services for obsolete equipment.

OUR SOLUTIONS

Offshore HVAC, Refrigeration Engineering & Modification Projects

It is inevitable that, over time, HVAC and refrigeration systems on offshore platforms and vessels require upgrade or replacement as they advance towards end of life. At Trident IES, our project teams develop appropriate and economical HVAC and refrigeration design concepts into fully installed and commissioned engineering solutions.

Solutions include:

  • New, upgrade or replacement of HVAC and refrigeration systems

  • Turnkey, EPIC or EPC contract options

  • ISO accreditation covering design and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems

  • Full ‘in-house’ engineering capability including design and consultancy

Delivering on time and on budget

As industry leaders, we are experienced in overcoming the challenges typically associated with delivering projects to operational assets, such as tight timescales, spatial constraints and maintaining pressurisation to critical areas during installation.

We are fully ISO accredited which covers the design and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Flexible contract options to suit your project

As an independent integrator, we are free to select equipment and components that are most appropriate for the specific application. We can deliver successful projects under various contractual arrangements.

Consultancy services to support your technical requirements

Our ‘in-house’ HVAC and Refrigeration design and consultancy services extend to all disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation, control and fire and gas.

OUR SOLUTIONS

Rated and Non-Rated Modular Door Services

At Trident IES we understand doors play an important role in ensuring the safety of personnel and plant in an offshore environment.

Therefore, our modular door technicians execute regular preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the North Sea, ensuring fire rated (A, B and H) sliding, hinged and watertight doors operate as designed and conform to the relevant safety and performance standards.

Inspection, Testing and Compliance Services

The offshore industry is highly regulated and subject to specific legislative requirements. Our experienced and fully trained personnel support our customers to ensure both their ongoing compliance with regulations and adherence to performance standards by undertaking the following services:

LEV Testing

Our experienced and fully accredited ITC Technicians carry out LEV testing to ensure our clients meet their legal requirements, as set out in the HSE Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) regulations.

As LEV systems are an essential control measure to capture and transport harmful substances released from a production process before they enter the workplace, it is imperative they are assessed and deemed satisfactory for use.

Temporary Refuge (TR) Integrity Testing

At Trident IES, we carry out all types of integrity testing, employing specialist equipment and experienced personnel to execute the work.

Testing is carried out in accordance with the Performance Standard for a Temporary Refuge (TR) which assists in proving compliance with SI 1995 No.743, Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion, and Emergency Response) Regulations 1995 and the Energy Institute (EI) guidance on integrity testing for offshore installation temporary refuges.

Indoor Air Quality Testing and (IAQ) and Ductwork Cleaning

Our ITC Technicians carry out Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing to verify that a comfortable and safe indoor environment is being provided for occupants as laid out in current Health, Safety & Welfare legislation.

Contaminated ductwork can lead to a fire risk in galley and laundry extract systems, reduce system performance or cause health issues if the supply and extract systems are not in a good, clean condition. Armed with a multitude of tools to clean all types of ventilation system offshore, our technicians eradicate these issues, returning systems to an acceptable level of cleanliness and performance.
